Dog cages are heavy and bulky products. The transport companies to determine the shipping weight of a shipment, compare the physical (gravimetric) weight and the volumetric weight of the shipment. The largest of the two weights becomes the shipping weight of the shipment. The volumetric weight is calculated according to the formula: length (cm) x width (cm) x height (cm) / 6000.

You will have to balance the opportunity cost for you, and see if you want the cage to come to you in the form of an assembly kit (lower transport cost but time allotted for assembly) or if you do not want to invest time in assembly. and opt for the delivery of the already assembled cage (higher transport cost).
